Allow us to offer our expertise and support during this time.
If your deceased loved one is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, we can assist you in coordinating the international shipping of their remains. Over the years, we have successfully helped numerous clients repatriate remains to various countries in Central and South America, as well as across Europe and Asia. Our experience and knowledge in navigating the complexities of international shipping allow us to provide you with a reliable and efficient service.
Dealing with the bureaucracy involved in shipping remains can be overwhelming while you are grieving. Let our experienced team at Pacific Interment shoulder the burden of handling the necessary governmental procedures and paperwork. We are well-versed in the requirements and regulations, ensuring that the process is carried out smoothly and in compliance with international standards.
When you contact our office, we will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the steps involved in shipping remains internationally. Our dedicated staff will be available to address any questions or concerns you may have about the process. With a long history of assisting thousands of clients in shipping their loved one’s remains, we are committed to providing the support and guidance you need during this difficult time.
Our international shipping service includes the removal of the remains from the place of death, whether it be a hospital, coroner’s office, medical examiner facility, nursing home, private residence, convalescent care facility, or hospice (please click here for guidance on what to do when death occurs). The remains will be securely stored in our licensed morgue facility until embalming can be performed, ensuring the necessary preparations for international transportation.
Additionally, our experienced team will complete both the medical and non-medical sections of the death certificate and obtain the required signatures from doctors or coroners. We will file the death certificate and disposition permit with the local health department. Our service also includes the preparation of consulate paperwork, and facilitating the necessary documentation for international shipment. Finally, we will arrange for the delivery of the remains to the airport.
Please note that expenses such as airfare, consulate fees, and shipping tray or casket are not included in our international shipping service.
In your time of need, you can rely on Pacific Interment to handle the logistics and complexities of international shipping with care and professionalism. Contact our office today, and let us provide you with the support and guidance you require.
